In an effort to bond our Fleetwood youth teams with our High School program, last year we launched “FGSA Youth Night” on the already special event that we have every year where our Fleetwood High School team plays a night game at our Blandon Fire Company field.  This year that game is being held on Friday, 4/26, to raise money for Cancer Research.  In addition to the game we’re going to do a small pre-game ceremony where any of our 8U, 10U and 12U players are welcome to come in their FGSA uniforms and line up on the field for a high-five from all of the High School players.  For the National Anthem, all of our youth players will then stand next to a high school player at their positions on the field, similar to what the Reading Phillies do for our Tigers nights at the Reading Fightins.

So, 8U, 10U and 12U parents, mark your calendars!  Friday, April 26^th.  Game time is listed as 6pm, so we’ll let you know if this will all start at 6pm or if we need everyone there slightly earlier.
